Connor Bell

UNTITLED

By Connor Bell, 6th grade, Melba Schools

Hi my name is Connor Bell. I am twelve years old. I have lived my whole life in Idaho. I go to Melba Schools and this year I was awarded student of the year. I was also given an award in fitness and placed third in an essay about the history of Melba. I have many interests like snowmobiling, basketball, football, steer riding, dirt bike riding, horseback riding, skiing, boating, camping, fishing, hunting, and airplanes, to name a few.

My dream is to be a commercial airplane pilot flying thousands of people around the world to their different destinations. Becoming a commercial pilot is my dream because ever since I was six years old I have loved being around airplanes, airports, and really enjoy flying.

I work hard at everything I do. To achieve my dream I will have to work hard in school and stay out of trouble. The only way to stay focused on my dream is to stay away from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. To achieve my dream I will work hard to maintain my 4.0 GPA, get as many flight hours that I can starting when I turn sixteen years old and go to college.

My dream would not be possible without an education. Getting good grades throughout grade school and high school will help me prepare for college and may even earn me a scholarship. It will be required of me to have an education to be a commercial pilot.

Once I have attained my dream I will finally be able to enjoy what I have worked so hard to achieve. I will start flying people around to their different destinations and get to fly some of the biggest airplanes in the world. Attaining my dream will allow me to take care of myself and my family.
