Hi, my name is Gretchen Hansten. I’m fourteen years old. Ever since I was four I’ve known that I’ve wanted to be a doctor. When I took life science, it proved to me that I wanted to be a doctor. I plan to get all straight A’s through high school and be a valedictorian. I’d also like to take the medical, health and all the science classes in high school. My plan is to take different college classes through high school so that I can get some of my credits in high school. Once I graduate from high school, I’d like to attend the College of Southern Idaho. I’d like to go there for my first two years of college. After that I’d like to attend the University of Idaho to get my bachelor degree in science. Next, I’d like to go to a medical school in the west. I’d like to go to the University of Utah medical school, Colorado, or Oregon.
My education plays a huge role in my dream. You have to have really good grades in order to get into medical school. You also need to know how to do your job. Also, in order to be a successful doctor you need to know what you’re supposed to do and the best way to care for your patients.
Once I have become a doctor, I plan to use what I’ve learned. The main reason I’ve wanted to be a doctor was so that I could help people. I want to make sure that I can make a difference in the world.
My parents have always tried to help me achieve my goals and give me the best opportunities. Since my parents want to help me achieve my dream, I plan to work hard to become a doctor. After I’ve paid off medical school and I have kids, I want to be able to do at least as much as my parents have done for me. I’d like to do even more for my kids.
My dream is to be a physician or a pediatrician. I want to make a difference in the world. I’m going to work hard and make a difference in the world some day.
I hope you enjoyed my story!
